Arguably the most important successor to the Eastern Roman Empire. Founded by Osman I as a principality or emirate, destined to grow into a globe-spanning empire after his death. Important in this context is Osman’s Dream, mentioned by Kayin, a prophetic sweven which revealed to the future sultan that the reach of his realm will extend to the ends of the earth.
